The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 model, to be displayed at the Art of Speed ​​event in Malaysia at the end of September 2023, is available for pre-order.

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is set to debut in the Malaysian market, with availability expected at the end of September. Pre-orders for the motorcycle are currently being accepted at Royal Enfield dealers in Malaysia. The Super Meteor 650 is powered by a parallel two-cylinder engine with a displacement of 648 cc, which is the same engine used in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 models. In the Malaysian market, the Interceptor 650 is priced at RM 33,700 (approximately VND 176 million), while the Continental GT 650 is priced at RM 35,600 (approximately VND 186 million).

The air and oil-cooled engine generates 47 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 6-speed gearbox and a chain drive system. The Super Meteor 650 features a cruiser-style design, with a 19-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel fitted with 100/90 and 150/80 size tires, respectively.

The motorcycle is equipped with a 43mm inverted front fork with 120mm of travel and a twin shock rear suspension with 101mm of travel and adjustable preload. Braking is handled by a single 320mm front disc with a two-piston hydraulic caliper and a single 300mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper. The Super Meteor 650 also features standard 2-channel ABS anti-lock brakes and a 15.7-liter fuel tank. Its weight is approximately 241 kg.

The motorcycle’s display combines analog and digital elements, and the LCD sub-display can provide navigation information when connected to the rider’s smartphone. It also includes a 5V USB charging port for added convenience.

The Super Meteor 650 will be available in two variants: the standard model and the Tourer. The Tourer version will come with additional accessories such as a rear seat backrest and a windshield.

The motorcycle will be offered in five color options: Astral Blue, Astral Black, Interstellar Green, Celestial Red, and Celestial Blue. It features a completely new design, including the chassis, and is the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to feature LED headlights.
