Currently, Suzuki Vietnam only sales some models such as Raider R150, Satria F150, Burgman Street and the large displacement V-Strom 250SX motorcycle that just be sold not long ago.

The duo Suzuki GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 in the 150cc segment were sold genuinely early in the domestic market, competing with Yamaha YZF-R15 and Honda CBR150R. Although highly appreciated for the durability, both models did not appeal to customers in terms of appearance from the majority of sport bike lovers.

About Suzuki Impulse 125 FI, this model was introduced in Vietnam in 2014, was positioned as a competitor of Honda Air Blade or Yamaha Nouvo at that time but priced from only 33 million. Up to now, the Impulse 125 FI has not applied many changes in both appearance and equipment, which has also gradually lost its attractiveness.

Finally, the Intruder 150 was introduced by Suzuki Vietnam at the end of 2020, but very few ones appear on the road. In general, Suzuki’s problem in Vietnam mainly lies in the unattractive motorcycle design, which makes it difficult to compete with fellow automakers.

The fact that Suzuki Vietnam stopped producing some models shows the clear orientation of the Japanese automaker when they decided to no longer focus heavily on the motorcycle segment. Currently, the manufacturer can focus all its resources on the automotive segment, especially the light-duty truck segment, which has brought much profit for decades.
