In the 250cc series, Suzuki currently has only two models, Gixxer 250 and Gixxer 250 SF. This duo has respectively been launched in a number of Asian markets such as India, Indonesia and the latest is Vietnam at the end of last year. Realizing the interest of customers in the lightweight ADV line, Suzuki has introduced another multi-purpose vehicle in this segment, the V-Strom SX 250 to compete with rivals such as KTM 250 Adventure, Benelli TRK 251, and BMW G310GS.

It is known that Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX model is already available in the Indian market. The bike is developed based on the chassis structure and engine of the new Gixxer 250 series. Therefore, the engine is a single cylinder, 249cc in capacity, liquid-cooled, producing 26.5 horsepower at 9,300 rpm; a maximum torque of 22.2 Nm at 7,300 rpm.

The vehicle’s dashboard is digital with built-in Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to connect a smartphone to the vehicle via the Suzuki Ride Connect application to display and use features of the vehicle. Another available convenience is a USB charging port for charging mobile devices.

The suspension of Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX includes a pair of telescopic front forks and a single cylinder rear shock absorber. Both of which have a longer travel than the suspension on the Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF250. Disc brakes with dual-channel ABS are standard equipment.
