At the BIMS 2022 exhibition, Yamaha has just officially launched the Sport Touring Tracer 9 2022 model in the Thai market with a list price of 569000 Baht, equivalent to 388 million VND.

Accordingly, the Yamaha Tracer 9 2022 in Thailand will be sold under two versions: Standard and GT. Both bikes are developed based on the chassis and engine of naked bike Yamaha MT-09. The difference is only in the suspension system and some additional equipment to create a Sport Touring style for long-distance travels.

Powering the motorbike is a CP3 engine, 3 cylinders with a capacity of 889cc, liquid-cooled, producing 119 horsepower at 10,000 rpm, max torque of 93 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Compared to the old Tracer 900, the Tracer 9 2022 engine weighs 1.7 kg less and achieves maximum torque faster.

The legs of Yamaha Tracer 9 2022 include a pair of 41mm inverted front forks and a single rear shock absorber with lightweight aluminum swingarms. Both front and rear suspension systems are manufactured by Kayaba.

With the more advanced GT version, the model is added a semi-active electronic control suspension system, capable of automatically adjusting the parameters of the shock absorber depending on the road surface conditions. In addition, the Tracer 9 GT also has a cornering light system, heated steering wheel, and a set of rear storage containers.
