Yamaha XSR155 World GP 60th Anniversary in Vietnam will be sold for 5 million VND higher than standard.
After nearly 3 months of launching in Southeast Asia, a special version of Yamaha XSR155 model has been imported and sold in Vietnam through a system of private dealers. Accordingly, the special version of XSR155 has the full name of Yamaha XSR155 World GP 60th Anniversary. This model is imported directly from Indonesia and sold for 83 million VND in Vietnam.
Unlike the standard XSR155, the 60th anniversary edition dons the Red and White color of the Yamaha racing team in the 1960s. However, the design and equipment of this commemorative version is still kept as original.
Overall, the Yamaha XSR155 World GP 60th Anniversary has a classic design, clearly shown by its round headlights, teardrop fuel tank, fully exposed engine, and one-piece long saddle. Contrasting with the bike’s Red and White stamp colors are gold accents on the front fork shell and rims, giving the anniversary XSR155 an eye-catching and distinctive look.
Interspersed with such classiness is a series of modern equipment such as LED headlights, reverse forks, digital dashboard, front/rear disc brakes, and fuel-saving electronic fuel injection block. Its fuel tank has a capacity of 10.4 liters; 17-inch cast rims come with 110/70 tires at the front and 140/70 in the back.
The engine of the Yamaha XSR155 2022 still has a single cylinder, SOHC, 155cc in capacity, liquid-cooled, producing 19 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and maximum torque of 14.7 Nm at 8,500 rpm. This power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed manual gearbox and a disc sprocket system.
In the Vietnamese market, Yamaha XSR155 is only sold at private import dealers. The price of the Standard XSR155 is being offered for 77.8 million VND, and the Anniversary version will be about 5.2 million VND higher than the Standard version.
