The newly launched version possesses the appearance of the 2020 generation with large bulb headlights, telescopic forks, but safer dual-channel ABS brakes.

The Yamaha R15 ABS 2024 has been recently launched in Brazil, featuring the appearance of the V3 generation with updated colors. The design remains similar to previous generations, including the pair of large LED headlights, M-shaped air intakes, and modern LED rear lights.

The R15 ABS 2024 comes with a tall windshield, a fully digital instrument cluster, and an 11-liter fuel tank. However, the Brazilian version still uses a telescopic fork for the front suspension instead of an Upside-Down fork, along with a single-cylinder spring shock absorber for the rear.

The motorcycle is equipped with powerful 17-inch cast wheels, with front and rear tires measuring 100/80-17 and 140/70-17 respectively. The R15 ABS 2024 features a single 282mm diameter disc brake for the front wheel and a 220mm disc brake for the rear wheel. Both brakes are equipped with the ABS anti-lock braking system to ensure safety during operation.

Powering the Yamaha R15 ABS 2024 is a 155cc single-cylinder, SOHC engine with VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology. This engine delivers a maximum power output of 18.8 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.5 Nm at 8,500 rpm.

In Brazil, the selling price of the R15 ABS 2024 is 18,990 Brazilian Real, which is approximately 93 million VND. This pricing strategy is consistent with Yamaha’s approach in other countries, including Vietnam, where they continue to offer the previous generation R15 V3 alongside the R15 V4 at a slightly lower price.
