Yamaha YZF-R3 2023 priced at 5,800 USD launched in Southeast Asia

Yamaha Thailand introduces a new version of YZF-R3, a sportbike model that attracts customers in the country of golden pagodas. In the 2023 version, R3 refines the design, the engine, adds new colors and a minimalist stamp set.

R3 2023 still maintains the sportiness of the R-series. The Japanese automaker has tweaked the design of the new shirt to be more aerodynamic, reducing drag to increase speed. The sportbike model inherits the design from the R1 elder such as full LED headlights, USD reverse travel shock absorbers.

The vehicle is equipped with an LCD instrument panel that displays full vehicle information. In the new version, the dashboard has a gearshift light and a gear indicator, a new third with lighter weight and sportier. Pair of 17-inch rims with tubeless tires. Safety equipment with dual-channel ABS anti-lock braking system.

The engine of the new YZF-R3 is slightly refined, a two-cylinder machine with a capacity of 321 cc, liquid-cooled, electronic fuel injection, 6-speed gearbox, manual clutch. Fuel tank capacity stands 14 liters, seat height at 780 mm suitable for Southeast Asian physique.

As planned, Yamaha YZF-R3 2023 sold from the beginning of December, priced at 5,800 USD. Two color options, including blue and black. In Thailand, Yamaha R3 competes with Honda CBR300R ($4,300), Kawasaki Ninja 400 ($6,000).
