New scooter 2023 Honda Vario 160 Repsol Edition is updated in Southeast Asia with limited quantity and sells for 54.6 million VND.

The 2023 Honda Vario 160 Repsol Edition has been officially launched in the Malaysian market as a limited-edition scooter. It comes with the iconic Repsol racing colors and is priced at RM 10,498, which is slightly higher than the standard version.

The scooter retains its existing design and engine specifications. It is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, 157cc engine. This engine configuration allows the 2023 Honda Vario 160 Repsol Edition to produce a maximum power output of 15.3 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a CVT gearbox and belt drive system.

The scooter comes with 14-inch wheels for both the front and rear, fitted with tubeless tires of size 100/80 at the front and 120/70 at the rear. The 2023 Honda Vario 160 Repsol Edition is equipped with ABS (anti-lock braking) for enhanced safety and features a single hydraulic disc brake system at both the front and rear wheels.

In terms of suspension, the scooter uses a telescopic fork at the front and a custom preloaded monoshock at the rear to provide a comfortable ride. It also features the Smart Key system, allowing the scooter to be started without the need to physically search for the key. The scooter has various feedback and warning features as well.

The Vario 160 also comes with modern amenities such as a USB-A charger and an 18-liter under-seat storage compartment. The instrument cluster is a digital LCD display that shows all necessary information to the rider. The scooter has a weight of 117 kg, a 5.5-liter fuel tank, and a rider-friendly seat height of 778 mm. It is worth noting that this edition is limited to only 2000 units in production.
