Speculations are that 200 units will be the first batch of the new generation Mercedes-Benz C 300 being sold before this model is assembled domestically in the near future.

Currently, dealers have begun to announce the price of the new generation Mercedes-Benz C 300 that is about to be sold in Vietnam at 2,399 billion VND. This is likely to be the official selling price of this model that will be announced by Mercedes-Benz Vietnam in the near future.

C 300 with AMG Line package will be the only version of C-Class 2022 sold in Vietnam for the time being. This version is said to be limited to 200 vehicles imported from Germany. This move may be similar to what Mercedes-Benz Vietnam did with the previous facelift GLC model, which was to import a limited batch of GLC 300 and then assemble it with 3 versions. According to information from the dealer, the assembled C-Class will be available around the third quarter of this year.

Compared to the previous generation, the price of C 300 AMG this time increased significantly. Previously, this model cost only 1,969 billion VND. Thus, the price of the car increased by 430 million VND.

In return for the increased price, the C 300 AMG 2022 has many new and more modern equipment, such as the front Digital Light cluster (more advanced than the current S-Class), the 11.9-inch central screen, a new mild hybrid engine…, along with a completely new design similar to the S-Class. More specific equipment of this version has not been announced.

The new 2-liter M254 engine produces 255 HP and 400 Nm of torque, further supported by an electric motor. The 9-speed automatic transmission is more compact and 30% lighter than the old one.

In addition to changes in equipment, C-Class in general and C 300 in particular also expand in size. The new generation C-Class has increased by 63.5 mm in length and 10 mm in width. The wheelbase has increased by 25.4 mm. As a result, the rear seat space is expanded, the headroom is 15mm higher and the legroom is 20mm wider.

With more modern equipment, Mercedes-Benz C 300 AMG 2022 will increase the competitiveness in the equipment race with the BMW 330i M Sport, also a European imported car. The current price of 330i is 2,499 billion VND, 100 million higher than the expected price of C 300.
