It is likely that Ford Everest 2022 will be introduced at the same time as the new Ranger.
A month after being caught testing on the street, Ford Everest 2022 recently appeared at dealers, most likely to research the product before officially opening for sale. The new generation of this mid-size SUV continues to be imported CBU from Thailand and is likely to be officially launched at the beginning of next month. The expected price at the moment ranges from 1 to 1.7 billion VND.
According to information from a sales consultant, Ford Everest 2022 will be distributed in Vietnam with 4 versions including: Ambiente, Sport, Titanium 4×2, and Titanium 4×4. Unlike the two lower versions, the Titanium versions of Ford Everest 2022 will have chrome grille, door handles, and mirror caps. C-shaped front lights are equipped with LEDs, and larger wheels.
In terms of interior, Titanium versions will have a digital dashboard behind the steering wheel, a 12-inch vertical entertainment screen with SYNC 4 system. Some other amenities are expected to appear. These currently include a sunroof, wireless phone charging, automatic air conditioning, electronic handbrake, electric seats, etc. Notably, the sales consultant also revealed that the Ambiente version is likely to still have a 10-inch screen.
For performance, Ford Everest 2022 will use the same 2 engines as before. The first is a 4-cylinder, single-turbocharged, 2.0-liter diesel engine, with a maximum capacity of 170 horsepower and maximum torque of 405 Nm. It comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
Next is a 4-cylinder, twin-turbo diesel engine, 2.0L capacity, combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission and 2-wheel drive to produce 210 horsepower and 500 Nm.
