From when it was first launched in August 2021 to early 2022, the locally assembled Honda SH 350i high-end scooter is often sold by dealers for 20-30 million VND compared to the listed price (149 – 150.5 million VND). There was a time in May and June when the supply is scarce, its price was up to 180-200 million VND.

But from the beginning of December, Honda SH 350i continuously dropped in price. Specifically, the high-end SH 350i is being offered by dealers in Hanoi with prices from 129-130 million VND, and the special and sports versions are also priced at only 135 and 140 million VND respectively. Thus, compared to the listed price, the actual selling price of the SH 350i is currently 19-20 million VND cheaper.

Even, Honda SH 350i is currently only more expensive than the 150i by 4-5 million.

On forums, many who want to make a purchase at this time are quite excited when prices continue to fall deeply. Meanwhile, those buying a unit 4-5 months ago are regretting the “loss” of nearly 60-70 million in a short time.

The reason for this sudden deep discount with the SH 350i is that after Honda Vietnam announced the gradual increase in the supply of scooters to the market from July 2022, the purchasing power in the market began to decline. SH350i is a rather niche model because it needs an A2 driver’s license.

In Vietnam, the locally assembled Honda SH 350i uses an eSP+ engine with a capacity of 329.6cc, single-cylinder SOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, PGM-Fi electronic fuel injection. This engine produces a maximum capacity of 29.2 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque of 31.8 Nm at 5,250 rpm.

Honda SH 350i also owns many modern equipment such as automatic warning lights when emergency braking, Smart Key anti-theft system, HTSC to help reduce slippage, disc brakes for both front and rear wheels are integrated 2-channel ABS.
