Mercedes-Benz just introduced the G500 Final Edition with a limited run of just 1,500 units. These are the last G-Class models to feature a twin-turbo V8 engine.

The Mercedes-Benz G500 Final Edition is a limited-edition luxury SUV, with only 1,500 units being produced. It features the same 4.0L, twin-turbo V8 engine as the regular G500 versions, delivering a maximum output of 416 horsepower and a peak torque of 610 Nm. The engine is paired with a 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission and an AWD 4-wheel drive system.

Distinctive elements of the Final Edition include 20-inch AMG 5-double-spoke light-alloy wheels with a glossy finish. These wheels are available in the body color or black, depending on the chosen exterior paint.

The Final Edition is offered in three exterior paint options: Obsidian Black Metallic, Opalith White magno, and Olive magno (both from the Manufaktur palette). Each color option is limited to 500 units and features unique ‘Final Edition’ text and embossed logos on the door handles.

Inside the cabin, the ‘Final Edition’ logo is mounted on the car’s steps, and it illuminates every time the car door is opened. The Final Edition comes with several standard features, including the Superior Line package, Burmester surround sound system, Active Multicontour Seat Package Plus, premium Nappa leather interior, and a leather-wrapped roofline with diamond stitching.

Production of the Mercedes-Benz G500 Final Edition is scheduled to take place from September 2023 to March 2024. The starting price for the Final Edition in the German market is 196,350 euros ($213,000).
