Audi Vietnam conducts a recall program to check and install protective pads on 249 A6 and A7 cars manufactured from 2019 – 2022.
On May 24th 2023, Audi Vietnam announced that they has discovered issue on some Audi A6 and A7 vehicles manufactured during specific time periods, the information control box port may be damaged due to moisture penetrating under the rear seats.
Damage to the information control box gate can affect various functions of the vehicle. The restricted functions associated with this are displayed by a warning in the control panel.
For finest safety for vehicle customers, AUDI AG requires all official importers to conduct an inspection of the relevant vehicle list, recalled for inspection.
Audi Vietnam decided to recall 249 Audi A6 and A7 vehicles that may be affected production from 2019 to 2022, imported and officially distributed in Vietnam market for inspection and replacement. The Audi models were operating safely until the time of inspection.
The recall program will run from May 22, 05 to March 2023, 31 and has been registered with the Vietnam Register for coordinated monitoring. Audi Vietnam regrets the inconvenience brought to customers and will try to complete the recall in the shortest time.
