The race to reduce car prices continues to be strongly applied by firms and dealers to stimulate demand and run sales in the final months of 2022. For example, some Honda car dealers recently announced a deep reduction of the CR-V model to more than 200 million VND.

According to a salesman in Hanoi, customers who buy Honda CR-V at this time will receive a discount of VND 120 million for the E version, VND 115 million for the G version and VND 110 million for the L version, and also donated 85 million VND worth of accessories for all 3 versions.

Contributing in the CUV segment, class C in Vietnam, Honda CR-V is the model with the highest list price with prices ranging from 998 million to 1,138 million dong. Higher than rivals in the same class as Hyundai Tucson (suggested price from 825 – 1,030 million VND), Mazda CX-5 (from 839 – 1,059 million VND) and “rookie” KIA Sportage is 899 – 1,099 million VND.

The price difference is also the reason why CR-V has continuously decreased in sales recently.

Besides the Honda CR-V, the B-class sedan City is also offered a discount of up to VND 100 million. The listed price of Honda City is currently ranging from 529 -599 million VND. In which, the standard G version reduced the most by 30 million dong in cash; RS version reduced from 15-25 million VND, depending on the dealer. Accompanying it is a gift of a set of genuine accessories worth 65 million VND.

Some Hyundai dealers in Hanoi are also selling Hyundai Creta with the highest discount of up to VND 35 million for the high-end version and VND 15 million for the special version, especially the standard version is reduced by 20 million, giving the actual selling price of these versions are 705, 675 and 620 million, respectively.

Another Hyundai model that also announced a discount on this occasion is Accent, with a cash discount of VND 28 million for 2 AT versions (automatic number).

Accordingly, the most advanced AT Special version of Accent currently has the listed price after being reduced to VND 514 million (old price of VND 542.1 million), the price of AT Standard version is reduced to VND 474 million (old price is VND 502 million). Particularly for 2 MT versions there is no promotion.

Previously, in the first half of November, the auto market recorded more than 10 car models that were reduced by manufacturers and dealers. The lowest reduction of 15-25 million VND belongs to KIA models. The car with the deepest reduction still belongs to the Subaru Forester model with a reduction of up to 280 million VND.
