During a Fisker event held in California, the American automaker unveiled more images of its upcoming electric pickup, the Alaska. This new electric truck boasts an impressive range of up to 547 km, a customizable cargo box, and a sporty driving experience. Fisker has slated the Alaska to be priced at $45,400 upon its launch and anticipates commencing production in early 2025.

Measuring 5,304 mm in length, the Alaska is slightly shorter than the Ford Ranger by 58 mm and significantly more compact than the Ford F-150 Lightning by 584 mm. Fisker offers a range of rim options, spanning from 20 to 22 inches. The truck showcases sleek LED headlights and distinctive design elements for the positioning lights. The wheel cavities exhibit a unique design approach.

According to a representative from Fisker, the Alaska features an innovative extendable rear cargo box, allowing the standard 1,372 mm length to be expanded to 2,804 mm. This flexibility is achieved by lowering the bulkhead and rear seats, resulting in increased cargo capacity. Belt holders are thoughtfully placed on the ceiling and behind the front seat backrests. Images of the interior reveal a large vertical infotainment screen and a spacious central console with ample cup holders.

Built on the Fisker Ocean platform, the Alaska combines agile handling with dynamic driving performance. The vehicle offers two battery pack options: 75 kWh and 113 kWh, providing respective ranges of 370 km and 547 km. While specific electric motor details have not been disclosed, Fisker noted that acceleration times from 0 to 97 km/h range from 3.9 to 7.2 seconds, varying based on the chosen version.

Production of the Fisker Alaska is scheduled to commence in the United States in the first quarter of 2025, with deliveries expected in the same year. Fisker aims to position the Alaska as a contender in the electric pickup truck market, competing against established rivals like the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, GMC Hummer EV, and the forthcoming Chevrolet Silverado EV.
