Yamaha has officially introduced the high-end SP version for the X-Max 300 maxi-scooter model in the Thai market with worthwhile upgrades. Unlike the regular version, Yamaha X-Max 300 SP Edition will be a special edition with limited quantities.

As announced, the Yamaha X-Max 300 SP 2022 will be equipped with a pair of high-class Ohlins rear shock absorbers, accompanied by a 5-year or 50,000 km warranty of Ohlins Asia. As it is a special version, it will only have one exterior color option, Power Gray with red stamps and rims. In addition, the original saddle is replaced with a Tech Max saddle with red embroidery thread.

In addition to changes in the saddle, rear shock absorber and paint color, the Yamaha X-Max 300 SP 2022 retains the same frame and engine as the regular version. The car still carries the latest design of the X-Max series with a sharp, sporty, and modern appearance.

The front stands out with a pair of large headlights and a touring windshield. The body of is quite long, bearing the characteristics of a maxi-scooter. Its saddle has a long design and is divided into two levels, spacious legroom to provide maximum comfort for both the driver and rear passengers.

Yamaha X-Max 300 SP 2022 uses a set of 15-inch front and 14-inch rear cast wheels, accompanied by standard disc brakes. Available safety and support systems on the bike include dual-channel ABS and traction control.

Powertrain remains a single cylinder 292cc engine block, liquid-cooled, producing 27.6 horsepower at 7,250 rpm, and maximum torque of 29 Nm at 5,750 rpm.

In Thailand, the Yamaha X-Max 300 SP with Ohlins shock absorbers costs 209.00 Baht, equivalent to 143 million VND. This price is 30,000 Baht (20 million VND) higher than the standard X-Max 300.
