Honda ADV 160 to arrive in Vietnam by the end of year, expected price reaches 100 million VND

Honda ADV 160 is expected to be put on sale in Vietnam this October, including two versions of CBS and ABS with prices from 95 to 105 million VND.

Launched on July 1, Honda ADV 160 was immediately sold out in the Indonesian domestic market due to high customer demand. According to the latest information from private importers, it is expected that the new Honda ADV 160 will be imported and sold in Vietnam by the end of this year.

Previously, model ADV 150 was also imported from Indonesia and sold in Vietnam at a price of 85 to 90 million VND, depending on version. Now that ADV 160 is on the market and replaces ADV 150, the scooter will continue to be sold in Vietnam as a private import with an expected price higher that is than the old generation, possibly around 95 – 105 million VND, perhaps even higher because the scarce supply amidst high demands.

Replacing ADV 150, the Honda ADV 160 continues to bring the design of an off-road scooter style, inspired by Honda X-ADV 750. In terms of design, Honda has made some small improvements in appearance, giving it a new look, somewhat similar to Honda ADV 350.

In addition, Honda ADV 160 is also significantly upgraded in terms of equipment and utilities. The trunk under the seat is raised from 28 liters to 30 liters. Saddle height and handlebars are lowered by 15mm to help bring a comfortable sitting position. The dashboard is a monochrome digital screen, displaying multi-information more clearly.

Most notable on Honda ADV 160 is the all-new eSP + with a single cylinder, 4-valve, 156.9cc, liquid-cooled engine. Equipped with a new engine, this year’s ADV packs greater power than the old version, at 15.8 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 14.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Electronic fuel injection system and a safe HSTC are available.
