Honda has officially launched a minor upgraded version of the Crider series to the Chinese market. Here, Honda Crider 2022 is divided into 10 equipment versions with prices ranging from 109,800 – 169,800 yuan (about 384 – 594 million VND).

As the informed, Honda Crider is a stretched-out version of the City and is exclusive for the Chinese market. In addition, in China, Honda City also has another stretched version that is Envix. While Crider is developed by GAC Honda joint venture, Envix is ​​a product of Dongfeng Honda.

In the 2022 version, the Honda Crider has dimensions of 4,766 x 1,804 x 1,509 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,730 mm. Compared to the old version, the car is only 10mm longer. At the same time, the car also has a significantly larger wheelbase than Honda City’s 2,600 mm.

Not only larger in size, Crider 2022 also carries a different design compared to the City being sold in Vietnam. Entering the new version, this sedan is added with a chrome splint located on the top of the grille with a wider and straightened design. This chrome brace integrates the Honda logo and connects to the headlights on both sides.

In addition, there are LED daytime lights embracing the headlights, an inverted trapezoidal central air cavity, and 2 circular fog lights, located in a black cavity. Compared to the old version, the front end of the Honda Crider 2022 is rounder and fuller.

Meanwhile, the design of the chassis of the Honda Crider 2022 is no different from before, except for the wheel rims. Behind, the sedan is equipped with “C”-shaped taillights like the old generation Honda Civic. The rear bumper and reflectors have also been redesigned to look more prominent.

Similar to the exterior, the interior is only slightly improved. The most notable upgrade in the interior is the new, larger infotainment screen. This screen supports connectivity to smartphones, navigation systems, Bluetooth, and has a better interface.

In some versions, Honda Crider 2022 will be equipped with 2 air conditioning knobs and other physical keys located just below the central screen. Meanwhile, in the remaining versions, the air conditioning system will be adjusted via a separate screen. Depending on the version, the car will use a traditional gear lever or a gear shift button.

When buying a new Honda Crider, Chinese customers can choose a jet black interior or a 2-color combination. Furthermore, this B-class sedan also has an electronic parking brake, automatic temporary brake hold feature, reverse camera, sunroof, parking assist system, parking sensors, lane departure warning, and more.

Unfortunately, the engine of the Honda Crider 2022 remains as it was for both options. The first is a 3-cylinder, turbocharged, 1.0-liter gasoline engine, producing a maximum capacity of 122 horsepower and maximum torque of 173 Nm. This engine is mounted to a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT continuously variable transmission.

The second is a hybrid powertrain, including a 4-cylinder petrol engine, 1.5L capacity, and an electric motor, producing a total capacity of 154 horsepower. The average fuel consumption of Honda Crider 2022 stands at 4 liters / 100 km.
