First Information About The Hyundai Creta - The Car Guide

At the time of launch, Hyundai Creta was distributed in the form of imports from the Indonesian market in early stages to explore the market. Recently, fanpages have posted pictures of Hyundai Creta having been certified for quality at the Vietnam Registry and may soon be assembled in the country.

According to information from the Registry, the parameters of the assembled Hyundai Creta completely coincide with the imported version and the biggest difference is up to 4 assembled versions: 1.5 MPI, 1.5 MPI GL, 1.5 MPI GLS, and 1.5 MPI HGS.

The common point of these versions comes from the fact that they all share a front-wheel drive G4FL 1.5L engine configuration with a capacity of 113 horsepower, combined with 215/60 R17 wheels. Overall dimensions are 4,315 x 1,790 x 1,660 mm, wheelbase 2,619 mm.

The price of the assembled Hyundai Creta is unknown. Currently this model is being distributed in 3 versions including Standard, Special, and High-class with prices of 640 million, 690 million and 740 million VND, respectively. Although launched at the end of March 2022, Hyundai Creta has quite impressive sales with 10,219 cars sold to the market, slightly lower than Kia Seltos when there are 11,946 vehicles from the beginning of the year to the end of November.

In the segment, Hyundai Creta will compete with rivals such as Kia Seltos, Toyota Corolla Cross, or Honda HR-V. With assembly, the supply will become more active than the import when users gradually switch to small high-rise vehicles.
