Hyundai has officially unveiled the Kona 2024 model, which is also the second generation of this B-sized car.

Hyundai Kona 2024 is considered a significant makeover in both design and equipment. The car is expected to be distributed with 4 versions, including ICE, hybrid, EV and N-Line versions.

The 2nd generation Hyundai Kona has a futuristic design. Compared to its predecessor, the new Kona has a “curved nose” design with elongated slender LED lights. In the EV (electrical) version, the Hyundai Kona 2024 is added 19-inch alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, in the ICE and hybrid versions of the Hyundai Kona 2024, it has a more solid appearance with sports plastic body panels. Not stopping there, these versions also impress with more aggressive front bumpers and triangular air intakes.

Hyundai Kona 2024 N Line version is sporty and aggressive with unique front and rear bumpers. Accompanying that is silver side skirts and 19-inch alloy wheels as well as black mirrors and hood.

Currently, the specifications of the Hyundai Kona 2024 have not been announced. However, Hyundai said that the new generation Kona will have a spacious interior compartment when it is 150 mm longer and 25 mm wider than its predecessor.

Moving inside the interior compartment, the Hyundai Kona 2024 has many impressive changes. Inspired by the pure electric car Ioniq 5, Hyundai Kona 2024 possesses many modern equipment such as a digital dashboard with a size of 12.3 inches, a 12.3-inch infotainment system or a floating control screening. In addition, the gear lever of the car has also been reworked to make the cabin layout neater.

It is highly likely that the Hyundai Kona 2024 will have only one engine option, a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine. With this engine block, Hyundai Kona 2024 has a capacity of 139 horsepower and 264 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Hyundai Kona 2024 EV version can use a 64.8 kWh battery pack, for a capacity of 201 horsepower.

Currently, it is not clear whether the new generation Hyundai Kona 2024 will be available for sale in Vietnam in the near future. Currently, Hyundai Thanh Cong has temporarily stopped selling Hyundai Kona cars to make room for Creta.
