On January 1st 2023, Hyundai model sales only reached 3.496 units, decrease by 1/3 compared to December 2022.
TC Group (Thanh Cong Group) has just announced sales results in January 2023. Accordingly, total sales of Hyundai cars in January reached 3.496 units, decreased sharply compared to the previous month (9.545 units), as well as the same period in 2022 (7.428 units).
The reason for the decline is that the second half of January 2023 coincides with the Lunar New Year, so the demand for cars of Vietnamese people decreased sharply. In addition, the companies have also focused on stimulating consumer demand and handing over vehicles in December 2022.
Hyundai Accent continues to lead the whole market of this brand in January 2023 with 1.024 vehicles delivered to customers.
No. 2 in the ranking is Hyundai Grand i10 with sales at 632 units. Hyundai Creta small urban SUV came in 3rd place with sales of 585 units.
Next brand in terms of sales in January 203 are Hyundai Santa Fe with sales of 323 units, Hyundai Tucson with 225 units, Hyundai Elantra with 213 units and Hyundai Stargazer with sales of 182 units. Hyundai commercial vehicles sold 312 vehicles during the month.
In general, except for two models, Hyundai Grand i10 and Hyundai Accent, the rest of the models such as Elantra, Tucson, Santa Fe … all have sales decreased by one-third compared to December 12.
