The most expensive version of Hyundai Santa Fe gets steep discounts, but with uneven reductions at dealerships.

Dealers are massively offering discounts on Hyundai Santa Fe after Tet Holidays. According to information from a sales consultant in Ho Chi Minh City, only one version of Santa Fe premium oil (the version with the highest price) is reduced by 135 million VND this time. Referring to some other dealers, the reduction ranged from 100 million to 135 million VND, most dealers announced a decrease of 120 million VND with the high-end oil version. This is Santa Fe’s biggest discount since the facelift model launched.

After the price reduction, the high-end Santa Fe oil version is only VND 1.24 billion. The car price announced by the company is VND 1.37 billion.

The new Santa Fe sold in Vietnam now has regular, special and premium versions. These versions are further divided into gasoline or oil machine configurations. In total, the Korean 7-seatER SUV has 6 versions. In the coming time, Santa Fe will have a hybrid version.

The high-end Santa Fe is quite similar to the special version in appearance and comfortable equipment inside. The most advanced safety equipment of the new Santa Fe has a Smart Sense package with blind spot warning features, lane keeping assist, adaptive headlights … This version has an engine with capacity of 2.2L, 202 horsepower, 441 Nm of torque, and a combination of an 8-speed automatic and 4-wheel drive.

With a reduced in price, Santa Fe is now 100 million VND cheaper than its rival Sorento as its equivalent version. Currently, the highest Kia Sorento oil version priced at 1,349 billion VND and is not discounted at the dealership. Other Sorento versions are priced from VND 1,179 billion to VND 1,539 billion, of which hybrid versions cost more.

Another rival of Santa Fe, Everest, is also adjusted by dealers after Tet. Some places offer Ford Everest at the same price as the distributor announced, not the same price as before. Previously, “hot” Titanium versions of Everest were sold at different prices or accompanied with accessories worth up to 200 million VND. Everest price currently ranges from 1,099 billion VND to 1,452 billion VND.

Statistics for the whole year 2022, Santa Fe is the best-selling car in its segment with 10,603 units sold. Everest ranked 3rd with 6,969 vehicles. Sorento was right behind with 4,379 cars. However, in the last months of the year, the newly launched Everest has overtaken Santa Fe in the monthly sales rankings.

Not only ranked first in the segment in terms of sales, Santa Fe also won the “Popular Car Design 2022” category of the Car Choice Awards last year. This model has just been voted by the majority of customers (23,309 times) and received high praise from the Professional Advisory Council (33 points).
