From October 26, the selling price of 3 Hyundai models: Santa Fe, Tucson, and Creta in Vietnam will be raised.
On October 24, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam (HTV) officially announced the adjustment of retail prices for some models. Changes are applied to Hyundai Santa Fe, Hyundai Tucson, and Hyundai Creta models, with the lowest increase of 10 million VND and the highest up to 35 million VND, specifically as follows:
Model | Adjustment | Updated price |
Santa Fe 2.5 Gasoline Standard | 25 | 1.055 |
Santa Fe 2.5 Gasoline Premium | 25 | 1.155 |
Santa Fe 2.2 Diesel Standard | 35 | 1.275 |
Santa Fe 2.2 Diesel Premium | 35 | 1.375 |
Tucson 2.0 Gasoline Standard | 20 | 845 |
Tucson 2.0 Gasoline Special | 30 | 955 |
Tucson 2.0 Diesel Premium | 30 | 1.060 |
Tucson 1.6 Turbo HTRAC | .5 | 1..055 |
Creta 1.5 Standard | 20 | 640 |
Creta 1.5 Special | 20 | 690 |
Creta 1.5 Premium | 10 | 740 |
The new price will be applied from October 26, 2022. According to a representative of Hyundai Thanh Cong, this price adjustment is due to the increase in the price of production components, the scarce supply of electronic chips, and the increase in logistics costs. These are objective causes, stemming from fluctuations in the world economic and political situation and the general situation of the entire auto industry in recent years.
Also in the latest announcement, Hyundai Thanh Cong confirmed to suspend production and distribution of Hyundai Santa Fe version 2.5 Gasoline Special and 2.5 Diesel Special from October 25, 2022. HTV did not specify the reason for this decision.
Summarizing the first 9 months of the year, Hyundai Thanh Cong achieved sales of 46,989 vehicles (excluding commercial vehicles and cash trucks). Accent is the company’s best-selling model with sales reaching 15,714 units.
