Kia Seltos has become the model with the most versions in the B and B+ SUV/Crossover segments in Vietnamese market.

On January 30, THACO Auto added 3 versions to Kia Seltos in Vietnam market: 3.1 Deluxe, 6.1 Luxury and 6.1T GT-Line, priced at 649, 699, and 769 million VND, respectively. Thus, this Korean model will have a total of 7 versions, which is the most in the B and B + size SUV / Crossover segment in Vietnam.

With selling price of 649 million VND, 1.6 Deluxe is the new “base” version of Kia Seltos, while this position previously belonged to 1.4T Deluxe priced at VND 659 million. Both versions are not drastically different due to similar basic equipment. The biggest difference lies in the engine, when the 1.6 Deluxe version uses a naturally aspirated 1.6L machine, producing 121 hp at 6,300 rpm and 151 Nm of torque at 4,850 rpm. 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive is employed.

Kia Seltos 1.6 Luxury offers an electric driver’s seat, tire pressure sensor, black interior with diamond motifs … The engine is same to the 1.6 Deluxe version.

Most notably, the 1.4T GT-Line version has a sportier and more personal design thanks to the GT-Line bodykit. Front/rear bumper trim, hip braces and front brake pads are painted a striking red color. GT-Line logo is mounted front and rear.

Inside the cabin, the interior uses design of black tones with red threads. The GT-Line logo continues to appear on the steering wheel, seats, and gear lever. The steering wheel is also embroidered with red thread and metal pedals. Moreover, the Kia Seltos 1.4T GT-Line is the only version equipped with rear sun blinds.

This version uses a 1.4L turbocharged engine, giving 138 horsepower and 242 Nm of torque, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, front-wheel drive with 3 driving modes.

According to THACO Auto, Kia Seltos has cumulative sales to date of more than 34,585 units. However, in terms of year-on-year sales performance, this model continuously finished in 2nd place in the B and B+ SUV/Crossover segments behind the Toyota Corolla Cross. For example, in 2022, Toyota Corolla Cross sold 21,473 units, while Kia Seltos only reached 12,398.
