KYMCO KRV – SPORTY SCOOTER COMPETING WITH YAMAHA NMAX AND HONDA FORZA 150

Kymco KRV has a maxi-scooter design combined with a sporty style and outstanding equipment such as dual-channel ABS, traction control system and smart lock.

After a series of new products in the high-end segment such as DT X360, F9 or CV3, Kymco decided to showcase its new sporty scooter model in the launch event this year. So, what is the uniqueness of KRV?

Kymco KRV is a sporty scooter targeted towards people who mainly travel in the city, it has an optimal design and focuses on comfort and flexibility for users. Similar to other maxi-scooter designed models, Kymco KRV has a bulky and modern appearance.

The front is large and notable for its pair of headlights, creating a strong and sporty look. Meanwhile, the rear of the motorcycle is thick, but somewhat coarse, not elegant. However, the combination of Kymco KRV’s design and style is a real good match.

In terms of equipment, Kymco KRV has got a series of remarkable equipment such as LED lighting system, dual-channel ABS in both front and rear, smart lock system without physical key and traction control system. Other standard equipment on the motorcycle includes telescopic front forks, rear single shock, 13-inch wheels with disc brakes and digital instrument cluster.

Utilities of Kymco KRV include a large trunk that can contain a full-face helmet, a front trunk with a USB charging port, a storage hook and a high-mounted fuel tank cap that build convenience when refueling.

In terms of power, Kymco KRV has got a single cylinder, 175cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 16 hp at 7,500 rpm and a max torque of 8.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It was attached by an electronic fuel injection system and a CVT gearbox.

After being launched in some Asian markets next year, Kymco KRV will become a competitor of some models like Yamaha NMax or Honda Forza 150 that are upcoming.
