Lamborghini launches high-rise supercar, rolling price in Vietnam approx. 25 billion VND

07 Dec 2022

With many potholes in the road conditions of Vietnam, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is a suitable high-rise supercar thanks to its ground clearance close to that of a CUV. It is expected that the rolling price in Vietnam of this supercar model is no less than 25 billion VND.

Lamborghini has just launched the Huracan Sterrato – the first high-rise supercar and the last model equipped with the V10 petrol engine of the Italian supercar brand.

Aimed at off-road style, the design of the Huracan Sterrato has many differences to better suit uneven terrain. The front bumper adds LED light clusters to increase illumination. On the hood there is an air duct to help cool the engine. The diffuser removes the splitters but retains the aggressive style.

A special feature on this off-road supercar is an increased ground clearance of 44 mm for the suspension system with a longer travel and increased flexibility.

Lamborghini does not publish exact figures, but estimates the ground clearance at 170-180 mm. Meanwhile, the ground clearance of the super SUV Lamborghini Urus launched in 2017 is from 158 mm to 248 mm depending on the mode and control of the air suspension.

To be suitable for operation in rough terrain, Lamborghini engineers used Bridgestone Dueler All Terrain tires of 235/40 front and 285/40 rear tires. This set of off-road tires uses run-flat technology, allowing the car to move at 80 km/h even without any pressure. Vehicle width increased by 30 mm at the front and 34 mm at the rear.

Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is equipped with all-wheel drive and a naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 engine. This engine block produces 602 horsepower and 565 Nm of torque, combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Thanks to which, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds – slower than most other Huracan models. Top speed is electronically limited to 260 km/h.

According to announcement, Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is limited to only 1,499 units worldwide. The company will start selling them from February 2023. Price has not been announced, but it will probably be above 300,000 USD (approximately 7.3 billion VND). Returning to Vietnam, the after-tax value of the car will not be less than VND 25 billion.

In Vietnam, the Lamborghini Huracan is a mid-range supercar model favored by many, with the number now reaching more than 15 units. Versions already available in our country include LP580-2, LP610-4, EVO RWD, EVO AWD, STO, and Tecnica.
