Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition will be a meaningful addition for the followers of the legendary 007 Spy series. This version will only be produced in a limited number of 300 pieces globally.

Recently, the British luxury car brand Land Rover has just launched a special version of the Defender model with the official name Defender V8 Bond Edition. This is a limited edition of the Defender series and was made to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the relationship between Land Rover and the blockbuster series Spy 007.

The latest installment of “blockbuster” Agent 007 titled “No Time To Die” will officially hit theaters on September 30 after numerous delays due to the influence of Covid-19. This time, the audience will certainly enjoy a variety of eye-catching action scenes in thrilling car chases, including the iconic Land Rover Defender and James Bond himself.

According to the manufacturer’s announcement, the limited edition will don an all-black appearance. This model is equipped with 22-inch wheels, a 5-spoke design with prominent blue painted front brake calipers. In particular, opening the doors, users are met with the car’s lighting system with ‘007’ symbols. The model’s infotainment system also has the same interface.

According to Land Rover, the Defender V8 Bond Edition will be limited to 300 vehicles worldwide. Accompanying that is the starting price from 105,395 pounds (~ 3.3 billion VND) for Defender 90 and from 108,040 pounds (~ 3.4 billion VND) for Defender 110.

In terms of transmission, the heart of the model is a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine. This machine is capable of producing 518 horsepower and 625 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all 4 wheels through 8-speed automatic transmission. From which, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, before reaching the threshold of 240 km/h.
