The 5th generation luxury SUV will be introduced to the world on June 1st, with a new design and additional safety features.
As Toyota’s luxury car brand confirmed, Lexus RX 2023 will make its world debut on June 1st. A photo revealing the new design of its best-selling SUV has been posted online.
From the image, it shows that RX 2023 will have a new design, similar to the NX junior. The grille has a new pattern. Headlights and LED daytime running lights are sharper than before. Meanwhile, the side air intakes are sportier. Carscoops further commented, following in the footsteps of the old LX, that the new RX also receives a completely new, sportier and younger exterior design.
The interior of RX 2023 inherits the new Lexus infotainment system, consisting of a 12.3-inch touch screen like on the NX and UX. Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 ADAS safety system is standard.
The current RX belongs to the 4th generation, first introduced in 2015. The model saw a major update in 2019 and other minor updates follow till date. Similar to its predecessors, the RX 2023 offers a variety of engines, such as petrol and hybrid engines, but with fine tuning of performance.
As planned, the Lexus RX 2023 will be launched first in the US on June 1st, then to other markets from the end of the year.
