Information from genuine dealers said that Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 will be sold in Vietnam right in February 2023.

According to information recently revealed by dealers, genuine Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 will be ready to deliver cars to Vietnamese customers in February 2023 with prices from VND 12.6 billion. Previously, dealers said that there would only be about 10 Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 units sold genuine in Vietnam.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 was launched in Europe in March 2022 and went on sale in some markets in June of the same year. This is the 55th anniversary version of the AMG brand, so it will be produced in limited quantities.

The G63 Edition 55 is available in two exterior colors, Obsidian Metallic Black or G Manufaktur Opalite White. On the lower part of the door, there will be a stamp with the stylized AMG logo. In addition, the company also offers AMG Night Package I and AMG Night Package II packages, which add gloss black details to the exterior.

The fuel tank cap of the Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 is chrome plated and has the AMG logo. Viewed from the side, the Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 also impresses with 22-inch wheels with multi-spoke design and painted in Matt Tantalum gray.

The interior of the Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 is a combination of two colors red and black. All seats are upholstered in Nappa leather with said tones. The steering wheel of the car is covered with Mercedes’ Dinamica microfiber material and the “55 AMG” badge is placed in the middle of the bottom of the steering wheel. Floor mats are made in black velvet with contrasting red stitching and feature the AMG logo.

Regarding the engine, Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 is the same as regular. Under the hood is still a 4.0L, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine block that can produce a maximum capacity of 577 horsepower and maximum torque of 850 Nm. The power of the engine is transmitted to all 4 wheels through a 9-speed AMG Speedshift Plus automatic transmission. Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 220 km/h.
