Similar to the EQC junior with 2 sedan and SUV versions, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is the SUV version of the EQE sedan. The EQE SUV version sold in Vietnam will be the EQE 500 4Matic.

On September 22, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam officially launched a set of 3 new electric cars including: EQB 250, EQE 500 4Matic (SUV) and EQS 500 4Matic. In particular, the mid-sized SUV model EQE SUV has a listed price from 3,999 billion VND.

The car has overall dimensions of length x width x height of 4,874 x 1,920 x 1,677 (mm), which is 132 mm shorter and 11 mm narrower than the sedan. The vehicle’s wheelbase length reaches 3,030 mm. The EQE 500 4Matic has a Cd coefficient (air resistance) of only 0.255, despite the car’s large interior compartment and short rear.
Unlike the two vehicle lines EQB and EQS SUV, the appearance of the Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4Matic has an Electric Art design package in the Vietnamese market. The front of the car stands out with a black painted grille, accompanied by a series of 3D decorative patterns. The lighting system is Digital Light with the ability to expand the projection angle and automatically adjust phase/cosm.
The wheels of the EQE 500 4Matic 2023 are arranged in a 5-spoke type, measuring 20 inches. In addition, the car’s exterior possesses many typical delicate details such as hidden door handles.
Similar to the exterior, the interior of the Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4Matic also owns the Electric Art design package. The center is equipped with a 12.8-inch screen, next to it is a 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel. In the options category, the German brand allows customers to upgrade to a super large Hyperscreen screen with a total size of up to 56 inches. The car has a Burmester 3D 15-speaker output sound system with a capacity of 710W.
In terms of operation, the Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4Matic is equipped with 2 front and rear electric motors producing 402 horsepower and maximum torque of 858 Nm, combined with a 4-wheel drive system. The car only takes 4.9 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h. According to the company’s announcement, the car can travel 462-549 km after a full charge, equivalent to the distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen.
In terms of safety, the EQE 500 4Matic possesses all the most modern features of Mercedes-Benz including: Active blind spot warning, active braking to prevent collisions, active distance keeping assist, parking assist. lane, active parking, PRE-SAFE active protection, ABS, ESP, tire pressure monitoring.
