Honda Vietnam releases the new generation Lead with upgrades in engine, additional utilities, design refinement, and brand-new stickers on the Special Edition.

Honda Lead mostly aims at female customers who requires a large storage trunk. In the new version, the Japanese brand adds a front drawer, with integrated USB port on the Special and Premium versions.

In addition to convenience, Honda’s new scooter model is equipped with the latest generation eSP + engine, similar to SH and SH Mode. The powertrain consists of 125cc single-cylinder eSP+ engine, liquid-cooled, electronic fuel injection. This produces 11 HP at 8,500 rpm, and a maximum torque of 11.7 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The engine integrates Idling Stop and ACG starter.

The overall design remains mostly the same as the old version. The difference between old and new are the 3D contours. The bike’s mask is prominent with decorative LED lights. Honda Lead Special Edition is unique thanks to its matte gray color and Special Edition stamp set. The trunk has a capacity of 37 liters. In addition, the bike is also equipped with a Smartkey. Front lights are always on when operating.

According to plans, the new generation Honda Lead will be sold from December 24. There will be three versions like the old generation, including Standard, Premium, and Special. Prices range from 38.99 to 42.29 million VND, a slight increase. Specifics are as the following table:

In Vietnam, Honda Lead will rival against Yamaha Latte. This model is sold under 2 versions of Standard and Limited at 37.99 and 38.49 million VND, respectively.
