Mercedes-Benz C-class 2022 has just been launched in Vietnam with 3 locally assembled and 1 imported version in limited quantity of only 132 units.

On the evening of April 26, 2022, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam officially unveiled a new version of the C-class sedan with many breakthrough changes in design, comfort, safety, and performance. In this new version, the naming of the C-class versions has also changed when there is no longer ‘C180’ or ‘C200’ Exclusive. Instead, Vietnamese consumers will have names like C200 Avantgarde, C200 Avantgarde+ and C300 AMG.

Another difference in the distribution of C-class 2022 in Vietnam is that Mercedes-Benz will have 132 imported C300 AMG First Edition cars soon to deliver to customers from April 28, 2022. The rest of the versions will be assembled domestically and handed over later.

According to Mr. Bradley Kelly – General Director of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam – Mercedes-Benz C300 AMG imported CBU will be brought back to serve those who want to own one in advance. The difference of imported C300 AMG cars is in the specific paint colors that the locally assembled version will not have.

The new Mercedes-Benz C-class has a completely new exterior design with a redesigned bonnet to have stronger style thanks to the embossed lines running in the middle and extending to the front. The headlights of the new C-class have also been changed to create a sharper aesthetic and match the car’s overall design. The lighting technology applied on the new C-class is LED High Performance, while on the C300 AMG it will be Digital Light technology.

The horizontal part of the body is also made to be smooth and seamless with the highlight being its newly designed wheels up to 19 inches in size. The rear now has full-LED taillights that are slightly similar to other S-class models.

In terms of dimensions, Mercedes-Benz C-class 2022 is larger than the predecessor with a length of 4,751mm (65mm longer), a width of 1,820mm (10mm wider), a height of 1,438mm (9mm lower). Wheelbase reaches 2,865mm (24mm longer). Even the wheelbase of the C-class 2022 is larger than before.

Inside, a big change brings a different experience. Specifically, there is a vertical 11.9-inch central entertainment screen, and a 12.3-inch multi-information electronic dashboard behind the steering wheel.

In terms of power, Mercedes-Benz C-class is equipped with 2 engine options including 1.5L (M264) and 2.0L (M254) engines with EQBoost to support optimal operating experience. Coupled with that is the new 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission with 30% lighter weight.

C-class 2022 also adds many safety technologies such as 360-degree camera system, brake support, active cruise control, speed limiter…
