The new scooter Honda Dio 125, with the same design as Honda LEAD, has just been launched with more modern equipment than the old version and a pretty attractive price.

India-based motorcycle and scooter manufacturer Honda (HMSI) has officially launched a new daily commuter scooter, called the Honda Dio 125. This model has a popular two-stroke and displacement engine that often appeared in the Asian motorcycle market. The new Honda Dio 125 has a modern upgrade in mechanical parts, retaining friendliness in style and usability.

Honda Dio 125 has a minimalist beauty, a newly updated body, and many features focused on utility. For example, its flat footrest for riders to more easily rest their legs and place stuff between their legs. Under the seat is a compartment for placing daily necessary items, as well as a small compartment in front. At the rear, the vehicle has a wide monocoque saddle, plus armrest bars to make the rear occupants safer.

In terms of performance, the new Honda Dio 125 is equipped with a single cylinder, air-cooled, electronic fuel injection engine, eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) technology. This engine block allows the car to achieve good performance and efficiency, with a maximum output of 8 horsepower and a maximum torque of 7 pound-feet. Furthermore, meeting the new 2023 emission standard, the Dio meets the OBD2 standard. It also has a quiet starting ACG derailleur.

In addition to the engine, other equipment of the Dio 125 is also very competitive with models in the same segment. The suspension consists of a front cage fork as standard and a single rear shock absorber capable of customizing the 3-speed front load. The base version of the Dio 125 includes front and rear drum brakes, but the high-end Smart version has front disc brakes.

Other technological features of the vehicle include LED lighting, a temporary engine shutdown system when Idling Stop, a kickstand lock and a combined braking system. With the Smart version, the Dio 125 is also equipped with a smart key and additional safety features.

The new Honda Dio 125 comes in optional colors such as Blue, Gray, Night Star Black, Blue Silver, Silver Gray, Silver Red, and Sport Red. The attractive thing about Honda Dio 125 is its impressive reasonable price, only at Rs 83400 (24.2 million VND) with the base version and Rs 91300 (26.53 million VND) with the Smart version.
