e-Power builds on Nissan Leaf’s pure electric technology, including an electric motor, lithium-ion battery, inverter, gasoline engine and generator. e-Power technology uses an electric motor drive system to the wheels, without using traction from the gasoline engine. Instead, the gasoline engine acts as a generator, providing power for the battery pack and electric motor.

Kicks e-Power’s electric motor produces 134 hp at 3,410-9,697 rpm and 280 Nm of torque at 3,410 rpm. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine feeds the generator.
