Nissan Vietnam announced a change to exclusive distributors of automobile products in the domestic market.

Previously, since 2009, Nissan Vietnam Co., Ltd. (NVL) has been a joint venture between Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Japan, and Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (TCMH), Malaysia, an investment company with Principal activities including importing, assembling and distributing Nissan vehicles in Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.

According to the announcement from Vietnam Automotive Industry Development Ltd. (VAD), from October 1, 2020, this company will be the exclusive distribution strategic partner of Nissan in Vietnamese market. “In order to demonstrate long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market, VAD has made long-term plans for its agent systems, products, services and customers. In addition, Nissan will focus on developing its agent network in the near future, expanding and improving product portfolio, improving service quality and accompanying customer care policies ”, VAD announced.

The representative of VAD also said that along with the conversion of distributors, all policies and benefits regarding products and services and the policies that are being provided by Nissan to Vietnamese customers will not be changed. Accordingly, the exclusive distributor of Nissan brand in Vietnam is Vietnam Automotive Industry Development Ltd.
