The BMW X1 2023 is upgraded with a completely new design, equipped with many utilities and the latest iDrive 8 entertainment system.
BMW has officially introduced the all-new BMW X1 2023, bringing more options to customers in the small crossover segment.
Accordingly, the third generation of BMW X1 model remains the same overall and body style as its predecessor, but several details have been improved to bring a new and more modern appearance. The front bumper of the BMW X1 2023 is shaped thicker and stronger, accompanied by a new characteristic kidney-shaped grille that is squarer in shape and larger in size.
LED lighting system is standard equipment of the car. In which, the rear lights of the car have a design like a new stylized ‘L’. The rear window is quite narrow, giving the car a rather dusty aesthetic, while the rear wheel arches are slightly raised, making the side of the car appear larger.
In terms of size, the BMW X1 2023 has a larger overall size than its predecessor, the wheelbase is also longer, making the passenger compartment and cockpit more spacious. Specifically, the length of the X1 2023 increases by 43 mm, width increases by 22 mm compared to the old version.
Stepping into the cockpit, the BMW X1 2023 has a 5-seater setup. Thanks to the increased size, both the driver and the passengers in the car will feel more comfortable. The in-car entertainment system has been upgraded to the latest iDrive 8 operating system, including a pair of screens: a 10.25-inch dashboard and a 10.7-inch entertainment screen. Below the entertainment screen are air-conditioning vents, cup holders and wireless charging dock for mobile phones.
Other standard equipment on all versions of the car include: 4 USB-C charging ports, 12V charging ports in the dashboard and in the luggage compartment, and Bluetooth connectivity. Upgrade options for the BMW X1 2023 include a 205W Harman Kardon sound system with 12 satellite speakers.
In terms of power, the BMW X1 2023 is equipped, as standard, with a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, producing 241 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The turbo system is arranged to come with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and xDrive AWD, helping the car to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in 6.2 seconds.
With the M Sport Package upgrade, the 2023 BMW X1 adds gearshift paddles behind the steering wheel; the Sport Boost feature when the driver holds the left gear lever for more than 1 second, helping the engine to maximize its power, automatically dynamically change the chassis and suspension settings to help the car accelerate better.
Finally, the price of the BMW X1 2023 in the US was announced at $39,595, equivalent to about VND 920 million. However, it will not be until the end of this year that the car will officially be on the market.
