The price of Subaru Forester at dealerships is falling sharply, but the big reduction only applies to the 2022 version of cars that are still in stock.

Since the launch of Subaru Forester 2023, many dealers have continuously offered discounts on used cars. The culmination is that at the end of this March, dealers strongly reduced the price of the most advanced version of iS Eyesight to only 969 million VND. The standard iL version costs VND 859 million. Before that, the price of the iS Eyesight version was still over 1 billion VND.

Thus, according to the above price list, the Forester iS Eyesight version has the highest price reduction of up to VND 319 million. Not only a discount, customers who buy this car will also receive additional accessories from the dealer.

Forester 2023 was launched at the Vietnam Motor Show (VMS) 2022 in October 2022. However, until now, the Forester 2022 is still in stock, especially the Copper paint version. Therefore, the Copper Forester is priced at 30 million VND lower than other paint colors.

Compared to competitors, the Forester price is on par with the CR-V after the offer. With CR-V, the most advanced version is also heavily discounted to only 968 million (price may vary depending on dealer). Previously, when it was first opened for sale, the Forester was the most expensive car in the segment, hundreds of million VND higher than the CR-V.

Basically, Forester 2022 is not too different from the latest version. In appearance, the car has major changes in the front lights and grille. The wheels are still 18 inches but have a more stylish design.

The interior of the old and new Forester version is even more difficult to distinguish when almost nothing has changed. The analog clock behind the steering wheel, the central screen and the small screen display a lot of operating information… to every small design detail are the same. Compared to the competition, the Forester is somewhat inferior in terms of comfort equipment, for example, there is no large electronic screen behind the steering wheel or no sunroof.

The old and new engine is identical, still a 2.0L machine with 154 hp, 196 Nm combined with a CVT stepless transmission.

On Forester 2023, the car has been equipped with the Eyesight 4.0 package including 9 features, including three new features: emergency automatic steering, lane centering and lane keeping assist. This is the most expensive upgrade on the new Forester version.

For those who do not care too much about appearance and year of production, the Forester 2022 being heavily discounted today will be a bargain compared to those who have bought cars before. Dealers are still selling 2 versions of Forester 2022 and Forester 2023 simultaneously.
