It is noteworthy that not only will customers save a large amount of money when buying a BMW car, which is higher than before, but the adjustment to lower the listed price of THACO also helps them reduce the cost of paperwork procedures.
Entering the sales race in Lunar July, THACO did not launch promotions, but rather adjusted the listed retail prices of high-ground BMW cars. Notably, in this discount, except for the two old BMW X1 and X6 models with new prices of VND 1,549 billion and VND 3,529 billion, the rest on the list are the latest releases (X2, X3, X4, X5, X7).
Accordingly, the model most proposed by THACO to lower the retail price is the BMW X7 with a reduction of up to 810 million VND, from 7,499 billion VND to 6,689 billion VND. In fact, this large-sized BMW SUV is still regularly offered by dealers with great discounts to attract users because not only does it compete with other strong competitors in the same segment, the genuine BMW X7 also has to confront imported models that cost only about 7 billion VND. A typical example would be last May, dealers reduced the price of the BMW X7 by more than 1 billion, bringing the car down to 6,399 billion, even lower than this price adjustment. In return for the new listing price, the tariff for registration fee will also change in favor of users.
Meanwhile, the model that THACO got the slightest price cut in this adjustment is the BMW X5 with a decrease of only 20 million VND. Next is the BMW X4 with a reduction of 160 million VND, the BMW X3 reduced by 250 to 330 million VND. With the new price after the reduction, it can now rival the Mercedes-Benz GLC. Finally, the BMW X2 is reduced by 270 to 310 million VND, details are as follows:

THACO’s price adjustment for high-ground BMW cars is necessary because unlike Mercedes-Benz, which owns many locally assembled cars, all BMW models in Vietnam are imported, leading to a relatively high selling price, making it difficult to compete. Especially in 2020, when Decree 70/2020 / ND-CP reduces the registration fee by 50% for domestically assembled cars, the price competition gap between BMW and other brands further increased.
