The upgraded version of Toyota Fortuner has just been launched in Thailand with a number of changes, accompanied by a series of new equipment focusing on safety technology.

The Toyota Fortuner 2023 has been launched in Thailand with three variants: Fortuner GR-Sport, Fortuner Legender, and Fortuner Leader. The price range for the different versions of the Fortuner 2023 in Thailand is 1.375-1.939 million baht, which is equivalent to approximately 932 million – 1.31 billion VND. There are a total of eight different versions available for customers to choose from.

The Toyota Fortuner GR-Sport 2023 is inspired by the Toyota Gazoo Racing sports car division and comes with an exclusive GR-Sport accessory kit, including red brake calipers, aluminum accelerator and brake pedals, and a smart key. The car also features a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the Toyota Safety Sense safety package, which includes various safety systems.

Under the hood, the Fortuner GR-Sport is powered by a 2.8 GD Super Power engine, tuned to produce a maximum capacity of 224 horsepower (a 20 horsepower increase) and a maximum torque of 550 Nm (a 50 Nm increase). The car is equipped with an independent double wishbone front suspension, 4-link rear suspension, coil springs, and anti-roll bars with special Monotube shock absorbers.

The Toyota Fortuner Legender 2023 comes with a 9-inch touchscreen that supports wireless smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also includes the Toyota Safety Sense package with various safety systems. The engine options for the Fortuner Legender are a 2.4 or 2.8 GD Super Power, and customers can choose between 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive.

The standard variant of the Toyota Fortuner Leader 2023 features new equipment such as wireless charging (available from the V version), the T-Connect connection system, tire pressure monitoring, blind-spot warning, rear-traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera. The Fortuner Leader is powered by a 2.4 GD Super Power engine with a maximum capacity of 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 400 Nm.

In Vietnam, the Toyota Fortuner is a popular SUV, known for its durability and practicality. With seven different versions and configurations, the Fortuner’s price in Vietnam currently ranges from 1.026 to 1.47 billion VND. It competes with other popular SUVs in the Vietnamese market, including the Ford Everest.
