The price of 2.7 AT 4×2 version of Toyota Fortuner increases by at least 24 million VND, while the corresponding increase of the 2.7AT 4×4 version is 14 million VND.
On October 25, 2021, Toyota Vietnam officially introduced a new version of Fortuner to domestic customers. Accordingly, this mid-size SUV in Vietnam will be upgraded in 2 versions: 2.7 AT 4×2 and 2.7 AT 4×4.
Specifically, the new Toyota Fortuner 2.7 AT 4×2 and 2.7 AT 4×4 will be added new rear fog lights as well as an independent 2-zone automatic climate control system. In addition, the 2.7 AT 4×2 version also has a new 18-inch wheel diameter, instead of 17-inch as before.
In addition to the above changes, the model mostly remains the same. This is not surprising as Toyota Fortuner mid-life upgraded version was launched in Vietnam in September last year.
In the new version, this mid-size SUV is divided into 7 versions, including:
2 versions 2.7 AT 4×2 and 2.7 AT 4×4 are imported CBU while the remaining 5 versions are assembled domestically.
Not only has the Legender version replaced the old TRD version, but the new Toyota Fortuner in Vietnam has also been upgraded in terms of design, focusing mainly on the front of the car. Here, we will encounter a new, larger grille as well as a changed shape inside the LED headlights and taillights. On the other hand, there are 18-inch alloy wheels with a new design. Particularly, the Legender version will come with a sportier steering wheel, stratified grille, stronger underbody protection with front and rear bumpers, as well as separate wheels.
Inside the new Toyota Fortuner, there is notable equipment such as a 7-inch or 8-inch infotainment screen, depending on the version, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, new dashboard, smartphone charger wireless, charging port for the rear seats, automatic anti-glare rearview mirror, 8-way power front seats, push-button start, 11 JBL speakers…
Regarding the engine, Toyota Fortuner in Vietnam still has 3 options as before, including 2.4L, 2.8L diesel engine, and 2.7L petrol engine. In particular, the 2.8L diesel engine is adjusted to increase the maximum capacity to 201 horsepower and maximum torque of 500 Nm. The engine is still accompanied by a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. In addition, there is a 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive system.
The final highlight is the Toyota Safety Sense safety package, which includes features such as pre-collision warning, lane departure warning, and adaptive automatic throttle. In addition, on the high-end version, there is a 360-degree camera and hill descent support.
It is expected that the new Toyota Fortuner 2.7 AT 4×2 and 2.7 AT 4×4 versions will start being available at dealers nationwide from October 27. The price of the Toyota Fortuner 2.7 AT 4×2 2021 is 1,162 billion VND with a pearl white version and 1,154 billion VND with the remaining colors. Compared to the old version, Toyota Fortuner 2.7 AT 4×2 2021 increased the price by at least 24 million.
Meanwhile, Toyota Fortuner 2.7 AT 4×4 2021 is priced at 1,252 billion VND with a pearl white version and 1,244 billion VND with other colors. Thus, the model is at least 14 million VND more expensive than before.
The remaining versions of Toyota Fortuner currently have prices ranging from VND 995 million to VND 1,426 billion.
