From the beginning of 2023, Toyota’s most expensive SUV model increases in price by 90 million VND with the equipment and engine remaining the same.
Toyota Vietnam has not given the specific reason for this price increase. Currently, Land Cruiser is still a shortage of goods at the dealership and the level of “beer with peanuts” is hundreds of millions to more than a billion. Therefore, this increase does not mean much to customers who want to take the car by giving more money for the dealership.
This is the third time Toyota Land Cruiser has increased prices in Vietnam. Since its launch, the largest and most expensive SUV model of the Japanese company in the domestic market increased by a total of 226 million VND.
The last time Land Cruiser increased in price was in October 10. The car then had wheels increased from 18 inches to 20 inches. Land Cruiser’s 4-zone automatic air conditioning system has an additional air purifier negative ionizer, HUD screen on the steering glass.
Launched in Vietnam on July 7th 2021, the new generation Toyota Land Cruiser changes the interior and exterior design but still retains the loose chassis structure, aiming for off-road strengths. The supply of cars is scarce not only in Vietnam but also in the global market.
Land Cruiser is equipped with a new turbocharged 3.5 V6 engine, with a capacity of 409 hp, maximum torque of 650 Nm. It has 10-speed automatic transmission, full-time 4-wheel drive. The car offers 3 driving modes include Eco (economy), Normal (normal) and Sport (sport) with multi-terrain adaptive system, Navigator navigation.
Land Cruiser’s price of more than 4 billion reaches the threshold of luxury E-size SUVs (unibody chassis structure) such as BMW X5 price 4.3 billion VND, Volvo XC90 4.6 billion, Mercedes GLE 4.4 billion.
