On October 17, the Paris Motor Show 2022 officially opened to the media and press, before opening to the public from the following day and lasts until the end of October 23. Among the participants, VinFast reappeared after 4 years of absence.

At the Paris Motor Show 2018, the Vietnamese automaker came to the world with the first two gasoline-powered cars, VinFast Lux A2.0 and Lux ​​SA2.0, but now the story is different, VinFast is no longer a gasoline car manufacturer but has switched to pure electric.

VinFast will bring to this year’s exhibition 4 electric car models including VF6, VF7, VF8 and VF9, with plans to expand operations and officially do business in the European market. In particular, VF8 and VF9 have been opened for sale in Vietnam as well as internationally, while VF6 and VF7 are expected to be officially launched next year.

VinFast’s booth at Paris Motor Show 2022 is 1,000 m2 wide, designed in harmony between modern architectural lines and Vietnamese cultural identity, with the appearance of bamboo trees in the booth’s premises.

In addition to 4 electric car models, VinFast also displayed new generation electric scooters using LFP batteries to introduce to European customers.

Previously, two electric car models VinFast VF8 and VF9 were officially launched to customers in the European market within the framework of the International Electric Vehicle Conference and Exhibition in Norway 2022.

Currently, the VF 8 model has been handed over to VinFast customers in Vietnam. It is expected that the next 5,000 VF 8 vehicles will be delivered to customers in international markets by the end of this year.
