In addition to the new Evo 200 model, VinFast also introduced a new generation of four other electric motorcycles with an upgrade in LFP battery technology to help the vehicle operate further after each charge.
On April 26, 2022, Vinfast officially launched a completely new electric motorcycle called Evo 200 with the ability to operate 200 km after each full charge.
According to VinFast’s announcement, the reason Evo 200 is capable of operating so far is thanks to LFP battery technology. LFP is the result of cooperation between VinFast and its partner Gotion High-Tech. According to the specifications, LFP batteries after more than 2,000 charges/discharges can still hold up to 70% of its battery quality and ensure explosion-proof in all cases. Notably, LFP battery does not contain rare metal components such as Cobalt, Nickel…, greatly reducing the impact on the environment.
The LFP battery pack will power the coaxial electric motor located at the rear wheel, helping the vehicle reach a maximum speed of 70 km/h. The vehicle’s 200 km range can be achieved under ideal conditions where the driver weighs 65 kg and the vehicle moves at a constant speed of 30 km/h.
VinFast said that the Evo 200 is equipped with a 400W charger, capable of fully charging its battery in 10 hours. In addition, the scooter is also equipped with smart connection and control technology via the VinFast E-Scooter application on smartphones, providing functions such as bike search, anti-theft, tracker, automatic diagnosis, and vehicle status display.
Similar to previous models, VinFast Evo 200 will be applied with a battery rental policy under 2 packages, Fixed and Flexible. In addition, customers in need can also buy batteries for 19.9 million VND/battery.
In terms of price, VinFast Evo 200 has a very attractive price of 22 million VND, excluding battery. However, the model is not currently available. It is not until August will VinFast start receiving order for the Evo 200, so it is likely that the scooter will officially reach users by the end of this year or early next year.
Aside from Evo 200, VinFast also launched a new generation of 4 other electric motorcycles, Feliz S, Klara S 2022, Vento S, and Theon S. These all will use LFP batteries to help the vehicle have a longer operational range.
The retail prices for the four new generation electric vehicles mentioned above are as follows:
VinFast has started accepting orders for these new electric motorbikes from April 26 with a deposit fee of 2 million VND. Expected delivery time for Feliz S and Klara 2022 from May 2022, while Vento S and Theon S will reach customers from June 2022.
