VinFast, the Vietnamese car brand, introduces the VF 6, a pure-electric model in the B-sized crossover segment. The VF 6 made its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2022 and has been showcased at various exhibitions in other countries before its introduction in Vietnam.

The VF 6 features a sporty low-swept roofline and bold rear design, with distinctive bird-shaped LED lights. The front light cluster bears the signature VinFast design, and the unique LED light effect adds a modern touch.

The VF 6 is targeted towards urban customers who primarily use cars for daily commuting. It is available in two versions: Eco and Plus. The Eco version comes with 17-inch rims, while the Plus version features 19-inch rims.

At the rear, the car showcases VinFast’s typical design elements, including an LED strip that spans the width of the car and the V-logo in the center.

The VF 6 is equipped with an electric motor on the front axle. The Eco version produces 174 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, while the Plus version generates 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. Both versions are equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 399 km for the Eco version and 381 km for the Plus version.

With dimensions of 4,238 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width, and 1,594 mm in height, the VF 6 is slightly shorter in length but wider in width compared to rivals such as the Hyundai Creta and Honda HR-V. The VF 6 also has a longer wheelbase than its competitors.

The VF 6 features a sporty D-cut steering wheel and offers a spacious interior with seating for five. The car includes a glass roof, providing an open and airy feeling to the cabin.

In terms of safety features, the VF 6 is equipped with Level 2 highway driving assistance systems, including lane-keeping control, adaptive cruise control, and emergency lane-keeping assist, according to VinFast.

Both versions of the VF 6 come with a 12.9-inch touchscreen entertainment system.

The VinFast exhibition is taking place at the Viet Xo Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi from July 7 to July 9, 2023.
