After a month of announcement, VinFast VF3 was officially introduced to Vietnamese customers, in the “VinFast – For a green future” exhibition in Hanoi.
This morning (July 7th), the largest specialized exhibition series on electric vehicles in Vietnam “VinFast – For a green future” officially opened. At this event, VinFast officially launched 3 new electric car models including VF3, VF6, VF7 and the first electric bike model in the domestic market.
As the first mini car model in VinFast’s electric car product range, VF3 has attracted attention in the market since the initial information was revealed. This model will officially receive registration in September 2023 and delivery is expected in the third quarter of 2024. The sale price has not yet been revealed.
Belonging to the segment of mini-size popular electric cars, the size parameters of VF3 are easy to move flexibly in urban areas with many narrow nooks and crannies, not taking up space when parking or easy to move when congestion, turning … The overall length is about 3,114 mm, designed with a square, strong design like a miniature SUV. The V-shaped identification strip at the front of the car is made from metal instead of using LED lights. The wheels are 5-spoke, painted black, and have a size of 16 inches.
The exterior of VF3 is considered by many as a miniature SUV with an edgy, square design, high ground clearance with strong style like some luxury SUVs. This is also the globally modern design trend. Its variety of colors and choices will also be a plus point in advantages for many young people, especially if the VF3 also combines 2 exterior colors on the body and roof like the VF5 Plus.
In terms of interior design, VinFast VF3 is quite fully equipped with an electronic screen behind the steering wheel, a steering wheel with integrated buttons, leather seats and just enough space for 5 people but has not announced specific equipment.
Other specifications are yet to be revealed but the travel range could be within 300 km according to WLTP standards. VF3 will also have 2 versions Eco and Plus.
In Vietnam, the low-cost small electric car VinFast VF3 positions itself to compete directly with the HongGuang Wuling Mini EV (launched not long ago).
