Amid a series of surprises revealed on the night of VinFast Global Community Connection Music Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, the electric car duo VinFast VF8 and VF9 became one of the remarkable focal points for participants.

After taking place in Hanoi, on the evening of October 14, the global VinFast Community Connecting Music Festival continued to be held in Ho Chi Minh City with many activities, attracting thousands of people.

With the presence of leading Vietnamese artists, the music festival is not only exciting, but also a chance for customers to meet, chat, share knowledge, and experience cars with experts and those with the same interests.

The introduced Vinfast VF8 and VF9 are two electric car models in VinFast’s global product range, open for sale not only in Vietnam, but also in other markets such as the US, Europe… These SUVs in the D and E segments were first launched at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2021 under names of VF e35 and VF e36.

Most participants have stated that the duo possesses a very dignified and luxurious design that is no less than famous luxury cars in the world.

According to announcement from the manufacturer, VinFast VF9 has long, wide and high dimensions of 5,118 x 2,254 x 1,696 (mm) respectively. Wheelbase is at 3,150 mm, ground clearance is 197 mm. The car’s appearance is evaluated to have many futuristic, and strong designs. The front of is highlighted by LED strips combined with a stacked V-logo for an eye-catching effect. VinFast VF9 is equipped with a footstool, hidden door handles like on many luxury cars and supercars.

VinFast VF8 and VF9 have self-driving features level 2+ for Eco and Plus versions, levels 3 and 4 for Premium versions, and smart entertainment and utility applications. Both electric SUVs come with a 10-year warranty, free battery replacement when the battery’s charge and discharge rate drop below 70%, and a battery rental policy at the same cost as petrol cars, this similar to the previously released VinFast VF e34.

Participants were also informed about the process of designing and manufacturing Vietnamese-branded electric vehicles, learning about new technologies such as: ADAS, Smart Services and virtual assistants.
