Volvo EX30 2024 launched in Thailand from 1.08 billion VND

The Volvo EX30 pure electric SUV has been introduced in Thailand, just a few months after its global launch in June this year. The car is imported from China.

Volvo has introduced the 2024 EX30 in Thailand, presenting three distinct versions to cater to different preferences and needs. The lineup starts with the Core Single Motor Extended Range edition, priced at 1.59 million baht (approximately 1.08 billion VND). Next up is the Ultra Single Motor Extended Range variant, available at 1.79 million baht (around 1.21 billion VND). Topping the range is the Ultra Twin Motor Performance model, retailing at 1.89 million baht (approximately 1.3 billion VND).

All iterations of the EX30 are outfitted with a 69 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack. The most advanced version, also the priciest, employs two electric motors delivering a combined output of 422 horsepower, and features a 4-wheel drive system. The remaining two models utilize a rear-wheel drive configuration with a single electric motor, offering power outputs of 268 horsepower and 343 Nm.

The 2024 Volvo EX30 measures 4,223 mm in length, 1,837 mm in width, and 1,555 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm.

As for features, the base EX30 comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, single-zone automatic air conditioning, manually adjustable front seats, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, and support for wireless Apple CarPlay, along with an advanced safety driver assistance system.

The mid-range Ultra Single Motor Extended Range version adds 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, an electric tailgate, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, an interior ambient lighting system, Harman Kardon sound system, 360-degree camera, front cross-traffic warning, and lane change warning.

The top-tier variant shares similar equipment with the mid-range version, differing only in the upgraded powertrain. The twin electric motor version can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a swift 3.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 180 km/h and offering a maximum travel range of 460 km. The other two versions, equipped with a single electric motor, achieve 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, maintain a top speed of 180 km/h, but offer an improved range of 480 km.
