According to recent events, Nissan Motor Japan has found a new partner to replace Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd for the role of genuine distributor of Nissan in Vietnam. As an inevitable consequence, the former distributor’s dealers are looking to offload inventory at huge reductions. The reason for which is because VAD – a new exclusive distributor of Nissan cars in Vietnam chooses to develop a new system of dealers and those under Tan Chong will gradually be shifted to distributing MG Motor brand.
