After 7 years in the market, Yamaha Acruzo has stopped production and distribution in the Vietnamese market.

Recently, Yamaha has removed Acruzo from its sales website, showing that it has quietly discontinued this urban scooter model. According to research at some dealers and Yamaha Town, all had stated that Acruzo stopped production for a few months now, and has no available units for sale. Currently, Yamaha only sells scooter models of Grande, Latte, NVX, Freego, and Janus.

Launched in 2015, Acruzo is an urban scooter line aimed at female users with a 37-liter trunk as a highlight. In addition, Yamaha also equips Acruzo with a fuel-efficient 125cc Blue Core engine along with modern equipment such as a smart key (on the Deluxe version), tubeless tires, front disc brakes and rear drums brakes…

Although the price is quite competitive (from 35-37 million VND), Acruzo was not really attractive to users because Honda Lead still has more advantages such as a wide trunk scooter. Not only that, right in 2016 Yamaha had to recall a batch of 31,000 Acruzo vehicles with ECU errors that caused the front cover to vibrate when operating.

In 2022, Yamaha only sells the Premium version of Acruzo until it disappears from the sales website. Currently, Latte is the replacement scooter model for Acruzo on the market with a similar range of equipment, but the design is somewhat youthful and comes with more modern equipment.
