A Yamaha scooter model with a compact appearance and modern equipment will certainly be a great counterbalance to Honda Vision if sold in Vietnam.

Yamaha India has recently launched the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter model. Possessing a trendy appearance, Fascino also has a quite affordable price – only 78,600 rupees – about 22.5 million VND. Of course, this price only applies to the Indian market.

In terms of appearance, the Fascino has many similarities with the Grande distributed by Yamaha in Vietnam, but the car looks smaller with an overall size of 1,920 x 685 x 1,150 mm, with a seat height of 780mm and a weight of 99kg. The model has oval headlights integrating daytime positioning lights placed in the center, V-shaped rear lights. Along with turn signals, the entire lighting system uses modern LED technology.

The scooter is equipped with a full LCD instrument cluster with a full display of parameters, along with the function of connecting to smartphones via Bluetooth. Through which, notifications about messages, calls, and application notifications are also displayed on the screen. Users can also better grasp the vehicle condition through the application installed on the phone.

However, the car still uses a regular physical key cluster instead of a Smartkey. In return, the Fascino is quite handy when it is equipped with a 21-liter trunk under the saddle along with a convenient hook at the front. In addition, it is also equipped with disc brakes in front of the rear drum using the UBS system (distributing brake force evenly to two wheels).

In terms of power, Yamaha equips Fascino with a 125cc Blue-Core engine block, with a maximum capacity of 8.2 horsepower and maximum torque of 10.3Nm. SMG and Start & Stop System help bring better fuel economy.

With power and built-in equipment, Yamaha Fascino is suitable for everyday use on the street. If sold in Vietnam, the model will be a great counterweight for Honda Vision.
